Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a board member of the SSC's Board of Directors from 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. The producer was also of costumes/sets, composer/musician and text coach for SSC when she was its Artistic Director. The last year of her tenure she served as lighting designer and director in SSC's production of King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble, however in previous year, she directed her debut. Post she was raised along with two other siblings in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School was where she studied and cheered. The school she attended was Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post was previously married to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer since 1982. They share two daughters. A wonderful actress and an ideal wife and mother Post is an inspiration for many in Hollywood.
